Place Olivaer

The particular situation of the place Olivaer as a representative place of recreation near Kurfürstendamm requires a simple and at the same time strong design. Leading idea is the modern interpretation of a place of ornament. The geometry of the project results from the premise to embed the place in its district, to preserve the trees as many as possible, as well as an inspiration by a picture of the name-giving cloister Oliva. Accents of landscape gardens and formal places are reflected  - like memories - by the fluent forms, translated in a modern surrounding.
