Courtyards and Terraces at the Deutsche Ausgleichsbank Berlin

Small gardens were created on several floors at the Deutsche Ausgleichsbank Berlin, which is located in the centre of the city. The gardens have water basins, stone monoliths, sculptures, various types of grasses, a lightning-shaped terrace with blue glass pebbles, and a stylized bamboo forest made of tall poles on the roof terrace. The intensive green roofs are linked to one another through their use of recurring materials. They serve as peaceful areas for relaxation.
