Water Park "La Palmerie" in Biskra, Algeria

The city of Biskra - la reine de Ziban - lies on the border towards the Sahara in Algeria. It is a place full of historical traces and beautiful landscapes, a piece of paradise that has been visited by famous personalities, like Karl Marx, Oscar Wilde, Anatole France and André Gide.

In a palm grove in the south of Biskra an urbanistic development is taking place. In this palmerie a 6-hectars-water park with water slides and theme parks together with a water canal is under construction. The exterior spaces with theme gardens (Oriental garden, Garden of the Mayas, Chinese Garden) complete the offers of the acqua park close to the desert.

The combination of agriculture and leisure use allows the preservation of the palm grove.
