Master Plan: Opening up to the Landscape, Tree-lined Avenues
Together with Albert Speer and Partners we worked on a revision of the EXPO 2000 Master Plan. Part of this work entailed carrying out research into the proportions of the clusters as well as looking at the orientation of the eastern part of the EXPO site. The result was a networking of the entrances, the sight lines, the transition zone, and the Gardens in Transition in the west, and the Parc Agricole to the east. Trees have been planted along all of the streets in the eastern pavilion area, with each street having its own species.
