The Landscape Design incorporates the principals of Islamic Garden Design within a contemporary northern hemisphere setting. It celebrates difference and welcomes exploration. It provides space for reflection and contemplation whilst providing a backdrop for ceremony and public life. In function and form it provides a space for coexistence leaving a development potential that is flexible in its ordering for future developments to occur seamlessly. The Flower, its physical qualities and the ornamental abstraction inspires the core Landscape element –the use of the Hedge. Spaces are ordered to accentuate and heighten the sensory characteristics and provide a wide variety of spaces.
